Woven from wool, silk, and viscose, the ticking creates a soft, breathable first layer that helps condition the sleep surface from the moment you lie down. Beneath it, British fleece wool, hand-opened Austrian Moosburger® horsetail, and hand-teased Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere build a carefully graduated upholstery. Long, naturally crimped horsetail fibres help retain loft, while the finer wool and cashmere layer offers a softer feel and helps moderate temperature without trapping excess heat.

A blend of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton completes the upholstery core with added body and absorbency. Two layers of hand-nested vanadium steel calico pocket springs respond independently to weight and movement, with 3,296 springs in a King size. Coir and wool border upholstery, four rows of hand side-stitching, and woollen tufts with twine help support the perimeter and maintain a consistent profile over time.
